Do you offer financing?+
Yes. Affirm is available on every order at checkout — 0% APR for 24 months on most plunges and saunas. Subject to credit approval. Soft credit check, no impact to your score.
Do you have a price match guarantee?+
Yes. If you find an identical product cheaper anywhere else within 30 days of your order, we'll refund the difference. Sale prices, eBay, and Amazon Marketplace third-parties excluded. Text us a screenshot at (608) 909-8117 and we'll handle it same day.
Can I see a tub in person before buying?+

Shipping & delivery
How long does delivery take?+
Most orders ship within 1 to 5 business days and arrive 2–3 weeks after order. Cold plunges and saunas ship freight; you'll get tracking plus a 4-hour delivery window 48 hours before the truck arrives.
Is shipping really free?+
Yes — free curbside freight on every cold plunge and sauna to the lower 48. Chillers, accessories, and small parts ship parcel at the rate shown at checkout. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are quoted separately because LTL freight to those destinations runs $800–$2,400 and we won't bury it in the sticker price.
Do you offer inside or white-glove delivery?+
Standard delivery is free curbside freight — the carrier brings your unit to the curb or end of your driveway and you take it from there (plan on a couple of helpers). We don't include inside placement, assembly, hookup, or filling; those are quick DIY steps and we'll walk you through them by text. Prefer a pro? Text us and we can point you to a local installer.
Do you ship outside the United States?+
Not directly. We ship to all 50 US states; Alaska/Hawaii orders ship via separately-quoted LTL. International customers occasionally use a US freight forwarder — we can deliver to forwarder addresses in the lower 48.
Installation & setup
Do I need an electrician for the chiller?+
Most of our chillers run on a standard 120V/15A outlet — no electrician required. The 1.5HP+ commercial chillers need a dedicated 240V/30A circuit. Each product page lists the exact electrical requirements; if you're unsure, text us a photo of your outlet and we'll confirm.
What surface does the plunge need to sit on?+
A level concrete pad, paver patio, or treated deck rated for 800+ lbs/sq ft works. A standard wood deck is usually NOT rated for a 150-gallon plunge filled with water (~1,400 lbs). If you're not sure, send us your deck specs — we'll tell you yes or no.
Can I install it outside?+
Yes — every plunge we sell is rated for outdoor year-round use. The chiller needs shade (direct sun on a black chiller box reduces efficiency 15–20%) and protection from standing snow. The tubs themselves handle anything from -30°F Minneapolis winters to 105°F Arizona summers.
Operation & maintenance
How cold can the chiller go?+
Standard chillers (½–1 HP) reliably hold 39°F in ambient up to 85°F. Pull-down time from tap water is 6–10 hours depending on tub size. For 36°F or colder, you need a 1.5HP+ chiller and shaded placement. The 'how cold' marketing claim from no-name brands almost always assumes 60°F ambient and an insulated tub — neither of which match real-world use.
How often do I change the water?+
With our standard filtration + ozone setup, the water lasts 4–6 weeks before you'd notice. We recommend a full drain and refill every 8 weeks, plus weekly filter rinses. The included water-test strips tell you exactly when chemistry drifts.
How loud is the chiller?+
55–62 dB at 10 feet — about the volume of a refrigerator. We measured every chiller in our catalog because the spec sheets lie. If you need silent (sleep-next-to-it quiet), the Penguin Chillers split-unit setups are the only option.
What's the power consumption?+
A ½HP chiller pulls 400–600W while running, cycles ~30% of the day to hold temperature, and costs $15–$25/month in the Midwest at current rates. A 1HP chiller pulls 800–1,100W and runs $25–$45/month. Each product page has the exact spec.
Warranty & returns
What warranty comes with my order?+
Warranty length is set by each manufacturer and varies by brand — we're a multi-brand retailer, so we pass the maker's warranty straight through and help you file it. Dundalk cedar cold plunges (Flow, Polar, Baltic) carry up to a 5-year residential limited warranty on the tub (parts only, labor not covered); the bundled chiller is 1 year. Golden Designs, Maxxus and Dynamic saunas: 5 years on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on the wood structure. Most other cold plunges and chillers (ColdLife, Therasage, Dynamic Cold Therapy, RevX, Aleko, Penguin) are 1–2 years. These are parts-only in most cases, and you generally cover shipping to send a defective part back (Penguin and RevX cover the return leg within the lower 48). Cosmetic, freeze/winterization, and water-chemistry damage aren't covered. See the /warranty page for the full per-brand breakdown.
Can I return it?+
Yes — 30-day try-it-cold guarantee on any uninstalled product, no restocking fee. After 30 days, the warranty applies. If you've used the tub, we can sometimes still take it back but it gets resold as 'open box' so we deduct the markdown from your refund.
What if something breaks?+
Text (608) 909-8117 with a photo or video of what's wrong. We diagnose most issues on the first reply, file the manufacturer warranty claim for you, and push the maker to get the part out fast. Depending on the brand, you may cover shipping to return a defective part (Penguin and RevX cover the return leg within the lower 48).
