Product details

Built different. On purpose.

The cold plunge that looks like it belongs. The Flow is Dundalk Leisurecraft's newest cold plunge, and the first one built to share the visual language of their cedar saunas. A stainless steel tub wrapped in real Canadian cedar, with the chiller bay built right into the shell so there are no exposed hoses and no separate equipment box sitting next to the tub.

A concealed chiller bay. Most cold plunges leave the chiller sitting beside the tub with hoses running between the two. The Flow hides the whole chiller compartment inside the cedar cabinet. Everything reads as one finished piece of furniture, the equipment is protected from the weather, and you still get easy access for servicing. The bay is sized for the Penguin Cold Therapy Chiller with Filter Kit.

A stainless steel interior. At cold-plunge temperatures water sits for days between filter cycles. The Flow's stainless steel interior is non-porous, wipes clean with a soft cloth, and stands up to sanitizer without staining or holding odors. It is the same material commercial cold-therapy clinics use, for the same reasons.

Real Canadian cedar. The exterior is clad in Canadian cedar, naturally resistant to moisture, decay, and insects, with the grain and aroma that make it feel like a spa. Choose a Knotty Cedar or Clear Cedar finish.

Ships fully assembled. Each Flow is built to order at the Leisurecraft factory in Ontario and ships fully assembled on a single pallet. There is no structural assembly. You set it in place, connect the chiller and cover, fill it from a garden hose, and plunge.

Built to winterize. When the season turns, drain the tub, disconnect the chiller, and move the chiller into the garage. The cedar shell stays where it is and weathers fine outdoors. In spring, reconnect and refill.

Handcrafted in Canada. The Flow is made in Ontario from sustainably sourced Canadian cedar, and it is covered by a 5-year residential limited warranty on the tub.

Use your HSA or FSA

May be HSA/FSA eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity. A cold plunge is a dual-purpose wellness item, so it may qualify as a medical expense under IRS Section 213(d) when a licensed provider documents that you need it to treat or manage a specific diagnosed health condition, rather than for general wellness. In practice that means a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), which you can get from your own doctor or from a telehealth service that issues them. You do not need TrueMed. Keep in mind a letter alone does not guarantee eligibility, so whether yours qualifies depends on your provider tying it to a real condition and on your own plan.

On payment: many HSA and FSA debit cards only work at merchants with a health-care category code, so they are often declined at a general store like ours. The most reliable way is to pay at checkout with a regular card, keep your itemized receipt and your LMN, and request reimbursement from your plan administrator. Confirm what your plan covers and how to file before you buy, since every plan is different. This is general information, not tax or legal advice. Questions? Text us at (608) 909-8117 and we will help.

Common questions

FAQ

Does the Flow come with a chiller?+

No. The Flow ships without a chiller so you can choose the right one for your climate. The concealed bay is built for the Penguin Cold Therapy Chiller with Filter Kit, which slots in cleanly, or you can bring your own.

How cold does the Flow get?+

With a compatible chiller the Flow holds water as low as 37F. Most people run 45 to 55F for daily recovery.

Does the Flow need plumbing?+

No. It fills from a standard garden hose and empties through a bottom-mounted floor drain. The chiller plugs into a standard 110-120V GFCI outlet.

Does it ship assembled?+

Yes. The Flow arrives fully assembled, with the stainless basin and cedar cladding already built and the chiller bay ready. You set it in place, connect your chiller and cover, fill, and plunge.

Can I use the Flow in winter?+

Yes. When the season turns you can drain the tub and pull the chiller into the garage. The cedar shell stays outside and weathers fine year-round.

What is the Flow made of?+

A stainless steel tub wrapped in real Canadian cedar, with the chiller bay built into the cedar shell. Choose a Knotty Cedar or Clear Cedar exterior.

Where is the Flow made?+

It is handcrafted in Ontario, Canada from Canadian cedar.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to buy a cold plunge?+

You may be able to. It depends on your plan and your situation. Because a cold plunge can be used for both general wellness and medical treatment, HSA and FSA rules generally treat it as a medical expense only when a licensed provider gives you a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) tying it to a specific diagnosed health condition. A letter is usually required but does not by itself guarantee eligibility. You can get one from your own doctor or a telehealth service, so you are not locked into TrueMed. On payment: many HSA and FSA debit cards only work at health-coded merchants, so they are often declined at a general store like ours. The most reliable route is to pay with a regular card, save your itemized receipt and LMN, and request reimbursement from your plan administrator. Confirm coverage and how to file before you buy, since each plan sets its own rules. We cannot give tax or legal advice, but we are glad to help with the order. Text (608) 909-8117.

How long does delivery take?+

2–3 weeks from order. Cold plunges and saunas ship curbside LTL freight direct from the manufacturer; you'll get tracking and a scheduled delivery window 24-48 hours before drop-off. Chillers and small items ship parcel.

Is shipping really free?+

Free curbside freight on cold plunges and saunas to the lower 48. The carrier delivers to your curb or driveway; you handle final placement and quick DIY setup (we text you through it), or we can refer a local installer. Chillers and accessories ship parcel.

What's the warranty?+

It depends on the brand — every product carries the manufacturer's own warranty, which we pass through and help you file. Dundalk cedar cold plunges carry up to a 5-year residential limited warranty on the tub (parts only); the bundled chiller is typically 1 year. Golden Designs and Maxxus saunas run 5 years on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on the wood. Most other brands are 1–2 years. You generally cover shipping to return a defective part. Full terms are on this product's page — text us and we'll pull them up.

What if something breaks?+

Text us a photo. We diagnose it, file the manufacturer warranty claim for you, and expedite the maker's part. Most issues resolved fast.

Can I return it?+

30-day try-it-cold guarantee on uninstalled products. After 30 days, warranty applies.
