Warranty
Plunge Junkies is a multi-brand retailer. Every product we sell is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, and we pass it straight through to you — then we help you file the claim and lean on the maker to move fast. Length and terms vary by brand, so here's the honest, no-fine-print breakdown.
Cold plunges
Dundalk LeisureCraft — The Flow, Polar, Baltic (cedar tubs).Up to a 5-year residential limited warranty on the cedar tub against defects in materials and workmanship. Red and Clear Cedar models carry the full 5 years; some White Cedar packages may be shorter — check your product page. Parts only; labor, service and installation aren't covered. The chiller bundled with a Dundalk plunge carries its own separate warranty, usually 1 year (Penguin, Coldture, or Dynamic). You prepay shipping to return a covered part.
AquaVoss — Model 1. 2 years full parts-and-labor on components (pumps, heaters, chiller, electrical, plumbing) plus 5 years structural on the shell and frame. Original purchaser only. Commercial or rental use drops it to 1-year parts / 3-year structural.
ColdLife, Therasage TheraFrost, Dynamic Cold Therapy, RevX Wellness, Aleko. 1-year limited warranty on parts against manufacturer defects. RevX offers optional paid 3- and 5-year plans. You cover shipping to return a part (RevX covers the return leg within the lower 48). Water filters, weather damage and freeze damage aren't covered.
Chillers
- ✓Penguin Chillers— 1-year limited (optional paid 2- or 3-year plans on some models). You pay shipping to send the chiller to Penguin; Penguin ships it back to you free within the continental 48.
- ✓Coldture Chiller Pro— 2 years (filters excluded).
- ✓Aleko chillers— 1 year.
Install, removal and setup labor are never covered on a chiller.
Saunas
Golden Designs, Maxxus, Dynamic (infrared, traditional, wood-burning).5 years residential / 1 year commercial on heating elements and electronics; 1 year on the wood structure. Parts only — labor is excluded. Not transferable (original purchaser, original install site). You prepay shipping both ways and insure returned parts. Register within 60 days of purchase or the warranty is void.
Aleko saunas(hemlock traditional, barrel, indoor/outdoor) — 1-year limited.
What's not covered (any brand)
Normal wear, cosmetic marks and natural wood expansion/contraction, weather damage (sun, rain, snow, wind), freeze or winterization damage, water-chemistry damage (over-chlorination), improper install or maintenance, misuse, and commercial use on residential-rated units. Labor and installation are excluded unless the brand says otherwise — AquaVoss is the exception, with 2-year parts-and-labor.
Who pays shipping — the straight answer
We're the retailer, not the manufacturer, so we don't self-fund warranty repairs or eat return freight. In most cases you cover shipping to send a defective part back to the maker; Penguin and RevX cover the return leg to you within the lower 48. What we do fund is the legwork: we diagnose it with you, file the claim, and stay on the manufacturer until the part is out the door.
